How do you vent?

Fuck being nice. Nice can go jump over a fucking cliff and take polite with it. Right now, I want to decimate the entire planet. Burn it all. I am so angry with everything and myself, I could burst into flames. How do you relieve your anger? Do you tear the wings off flies? Eat little babies in front of their mothers? Furiously self mutilate? Key cars on the streets? Torch other people's houses? Write long long letters Hans Blix style to tell the people/things you're angry at just how sad and mad they made you? Eat a cookie or a thousand?

In before: personal issues that-a-way. You can follow nice over that cliff.

I usually roar all sort of obscenities and abuse at them in my head while staying perfectly polite to their face. Soon all that boiled up hatred and anger will surface and manifest itself and shít will hit the fan. At least it will give the papers here in Sligo sometime to print.

    I don't vent.
I just stew inwardly until the vitriol sweats out of my pores.

I post in the Ranting and Raving forum

    or

Bottle up all of my anger until I have a fit of intense rage, that works too.

I normally get in the shower with my clothes on and cry for about 2 hours.

Only happened twice and both times I was so furious I wasn't sure what I was doing..I punched glass before too.

Did it this morning actually, just needed to hit something so I punched a frame. Out of my system now and I can move on :o

Go online usually. Tell the web that I'm feeling a bit .

Somebody usually responds with a , then somebody else comes back with a :D.

That usually takes the sting out of it, and I usually go away feeling , gradually progressing to :).

    :P

    :pac::pac::pac:

I was wondering where that came from.
I just thought the postman had finally lost his marbles.

Sounds weird but when I'm in a foul mood I find there is nothing better than going to the golf course by myself, have the iPod on and go for a round. There's nothing better than time to yourself like that.

If golf is out of the question I like to go for a drive (especially to scenic places), bring the camera with me and take some snaps.

Again, that is peaceful & relaxing.

2 bottles of gordans gin, 4 litres of cranberry juice, 2 pouches of amberleaf, 16 cans of cider, lots friends, 2 days, tear the hole out of my girlfriend and relax.

On a serious note, if I am angry or upset about something long term I usually play Cod4 on the PC for a few hours or days.

No other media requires my undivided attention like FPS games, so it gets everything else out of my head.

Go for a long walk, walk until I'm actually physically tired, and then I haven't the energy to be angry anymore.

    I treat anger with contempt.

    Anger breeds mistakes.

    Anger solves nothing.

Anger is to be rejected, with all it's empty promises.

After that, you work to solve the problem. If it can't be solved, you walk.
