I subscribed to the eurosport player. Each time I tune in to watch the cycling as per the advertised schedule there is something else on. Is there a big joke that I am missing?

Their scheduling is all over the place for Giro highlights.

It's a one hour time difference. Programme scheduled for 9.30pm on the player starts at 10.30pm. (barring live overruns obviously)

When it says live streaming begins at 13:30 CET, it means Central European Time. That's 12:30 our time. I'm not sure about complete highlights but there's great live coverage to be found at cyclingfans.com links or on http://www.vipbox.tv/cycling Not sure if this is any help. But make sure you don't pay for any subscription. The site above offers all the sport you want for free.

It's a lot more than that. Last night I was in Spain. According to the schedule the Giro highlights were scheduled for 19.20hrs. For the next 5 hours I had to endure poxy equestrian shite between fecking dressage, stupid showjumping and 3 day eventing crap, (all in German), before the Giro highlights finally came on at 00.30hrs.

    Hardly an hour's overrun!

They have to give precedence to live sport and delay what's coming after, it's unfortunate if it means the cycling is affected but the upshot is that when the live cycling runs over they won't cut it off to go to a repeat of the horse riding!

Personally I think they're doing an excellent job with the cycling coverage this year, they've a great team and they're covering some amount of races.

Agreed, what other channel would show the Tour of Azerbaijan, Turkey, British Premier Cycling. Great for keeping up to date on the progress of emerging Irish pro riders

Rather ironic that this thread was started as Sky's coverage of Andy Murray's tennis match overran delaying their Giro highlights programme ...

The snooker is a real killer, have often tuned in for the cycling and you have to suffer through a long safety battle and then to hear them say excitedly - only 2 frames to go in this session :(

I used to like the Snooker too when I was a young lad now I cant stand it, I always thought it was the other way around with Snooker and age

I assume the op is referring to the British Eurosport Player app which transmits exactly the same feed at the BE tv channels.

I find it very handy to subscribe to for the cycling season. Gives me BE2 which I don't have on tv and streaming quality on the iPad is excellent. A playback facility would be a welcome addition though.
