Drop the Range Rover for an XJ (non-supercharged to keep the price down) and I'd go with option 1. But that's not to say I don't want a Turbo S. Would love one!

..or a seriously sweet collection of older classics. Shít when these days a Renault Clio Williams is going for around 2 grand and even exotica like
Ferrari F355's are going for just over 50K... And that's before you take a ferry to the UK, even inc the import taxes you'd be spoiled for choice. Hell you could even throw in a used 911 into the collection. There are pages of the things on carzone.

That's me mind you as for some reason I can't abide 911's. Dunno why, but always have. I can defo appreciate the build quality that's second to none, the fact it's an exotic that you can run as a daily etc, but they bring me out in a rash.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

    I used have a similar opinion too, until I drove a 997 Carrera S.

Option 4 for me all the way :)

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Haven't driven one of them to be fair, though I have driven a few different models and a couple of Boxsters which I really didn't like TBH. Though I understand that's just me. While they can be a bit of a love em/hate em car they're really the latter for me. Just don't like the look of them. Don't like the interiors, don't like the overall feel of them. I should like them for all the obvious reasons, but nope. Clearly I'm odd. :o

Plus like I said the stable of seriously gorge used/classic cars you could build for the price and have enough left over to build a garage around them and a weekend away in Prague getting rolled around in expensive oiled up hookers. I am a cheap bastard mind you. Have me christening money. If the sultan of Brunei discovered he was my long lost dad I'd not buy a new car.
