    Hi folks,

Apologies if this doesnt warrant a new thread,

First ever post here (didn't know this forum existed until now - wish I had found it before i purchased :o)

Having a good few reviews on head-fi, and youtube, I bought a set of Sennheiser hd215's, to use on some long haul flights that I have coming up, they will mainly be used with ipod & iphone,

The reason I chose these was due to the closed back design, relatively good reviews, and mostly, keen pricing, as there's a good chance the nature of my travels will either force me to lose them, or kill them.

Now, unfortunately, while not being any kind of audiophile, I am a bit of a bass-head, (used to have 2 1200w rms subs in a ported box in my car :pac:)

Ive noticed on first impressions that the bass is lacking in the 215's,

Ive been looking at some mini amps (fiio e6 stands out) and am wondering, will one of these little fellas provide the extra kick I'm looking for?

Or perhaps someone here could give me a steer in the right direction?

    Thanks for reading :)

    three words:

    Cmoy bass boost

have a look at my thread in this forum, cmoy is way better than most fiio amps, at least those costing under €200

Forgot to follow up here :o

While I liked the look & spec of a cmoy, it was just a little too dear & bulky for what I need.

I ended up getting a FIIO e6, and I am very happy with it, it provides that small extra kick that I was looking for, in saying that, I haven't had much time to break in the Sennheisers. But I love the sound, coming from apple & poundshop headphones it's like a whole new world :D

Hi, is that the one you bought from me? Glad it worked out for you. It's very small but does the business.

Most important that you are happy with your purchase. While cMoy is much better amp than E6, it has its disadvantages, like size, large battery. But still sweeps the floor with all Fiio amps up to E12
