I'm looking for a particular straight red colour (Non Metallic) for a classic but don't have a code. Can anyone recommend anyone that has a good eye for matching with a colour card? Pref South Dublin.

google the car and paint colour/year etc, you should be able to get a RAL number which any paint supplier will be able to match. what car is it?

Try City Autos on the Greenhills road, Walkinstown. They mix all paint there.

Have you any pics of the bike as it should look?

P&R wholesale has mixed any of my most recent requests

Example: Here's a Marea wing sprayed in 483/A, a clear over base job that required a base blue, then the actual metallic paint with 2 coats of laquer

No waterbase nonsense on this van ;)

The paint is De Beers, Givran also mixed paint for us, smoke silver and it looks pretty damn good :)

Vinny Byrne Paint have a yoke like a camera that they put over the paint and will give you an exact match. You don't even need to bring the bike to them - just a good sized chip of paint. ;)

+1 for Vinny Byrne's.Have bought there before and its always been a perfect match.Matching by eye is not the way to go.

Kylemore Road. You would be better off bringing in the bike anyway rather than a chip.I assume you are going to buy primer and sandpaper so your old paint will be gone anyway unless you are just touching it up.

Ill bring the bike, its just to touch up a few deep scratches, touch up brush fine, wouldn't bother priming it. If its 2K paint I will have to get hardener.

    Thanks.
