Chain keeps dropping.

Hi, looking for some suggestions. When I am using the lowest gear (smallest sprocket ) my chain keeps falling to the inside of my chain set. I think the front and rear derailer are adjusted fine as there is no clicking or rubbing. Using ultrega that's two years old but I haven't used it much and only done 1,000 km so far. Driving me nuts !

    Thanks !

Wind in your low (L) limit screw. This will stop the front mech from moving past your inner ring.

That's assuming it's dropping when you change down. If it just falls off for no apparent reason you might have a bent tooth.

Seems to be for just no reason. I will have a look at the teeth and see if any of them are damaged of offline.

    Thanks !

Was looking at the teeth and noticed a damaged chain link. Could that be the problem ?

    Many thanks !

DO NOT RIDE THAT CHAIN AGAIN
or you will end up walking home.
Get a new chain as its fooked.

I would say that is the source of your problem either that or your chainrings are worn and need replacing.

Sram chains, 1051 or 1091 get better reviews than shimano or kmc from what I have researched.
    €22 for 1051 on crc

You're going to need new rings.

    Probably cassette too.

You should have gotten a dura ace chain, they are the dogs b@//@x, your average speed would automatically be 5kph faster than your standard A4 race.
