Over the last three months my data has been constantly increasing.

It went from 118GB to 128GB to 138GB to 158GB to about 260GB this month. Nothing has changed about how we use it, could there be something wrong with our laptops thats causing lots of downloads?

Could be uploads, are you using torrents?

as colm said, combine both uploads and downloads. You could install monitoring software to see whats up. If your using torrents make sure there turned off when closing the program.

Do a spyware/virus/ scan. It's possible one or more of your Laptops can be infected by something that is using a lot of bandwidth without your knowledge.

Might want to check your router and see if it's secure (if you use wirless), it could be thieving neighbours...
