OK, so this is very subjective, but some certainly fare better than others.

One that springs to mind is...

    Any others?

    alfa-romeo-gtv-2.0-01.jpg

A lot of saloon cars design have aged badly because of the window line going higher and higher in the last few years...anything with an old style "low window line" will look very dated today...

W220 S class, 1999 , if you put LED rear lights on it and gave it a polish , people would think it was an 07/08 design.

    I'm biased but...

    audittsmall.jpg

I remember this coming out when I was in school and thinking it was absolutely beautiful. Now I own one that is 12 years old - and I still think its a cracking looking car. Great all round really!

    ps1.jpg

Yeah good looking by all means but put a e39 aside a f10 and you can tell the e39 is soo outdated. Exterior and interior wise.

    6025356108_dbfe754561_z.jpg

first released in 1989 , still looked really modern in 1999 when it was discontinued, its aging a bit now but if I put it into a carpark next to a load of jap cars from 00-02 I dont think anyone would call it the oldest looking by a long shot.

and Id still love to have one today.

As much at kills me, its true. Whenever I see a super clean E39 or see my E38 in a typical Irish car park, they stand out as very fresh, well looked after, slick executive saloons.

Drive into a BMW dealership with one, park it up and you start to appreciate how seriously dated they really are.

I may be biased, but the Saab 9-3? Introduced in 2002, so 11 years old.

Yup. Timeless. Clean it up with a lick of paint and a modern hue and it'll look very fresh still.

Have to really disagree with this. I saw a brand new "131" one of these a few weeks ago and the only thing I could think was how cheated I'd feel spending that money on something that looked as old as it did.
