Coloured chinos seem to be sticking around, more pastel shades from what I've seen, some mint and salmon.

Penguin and Selected Homme have some cool short sleeve shirts that would look nice buttoned up all the way.

Trainers are a real fashion statement this season, Nike Air Max/Free Run, New Balance, Onitsuka Tiger.

    Hello,

I've decided to make a fashion statement this year by only wearing what tourist think we should be wearing! I'm based in Killarney and my friend think I was mad for trying a fashion experiment!

I went for Aran jumper or Aran Sweaters as the yanks call them with chinos, khaki or jeans and brown boots . Seriously ladies from different nationalities just came out and started talking to me out! This was not happening last year!

I just went into the main tourist shop in Killareny Quills - http://www.irishgiftsandsweaters.com

here are the type of boots i word with the jeans

I must actually start up a thread about my discovery and the attention it gets!

A few Tie Dye t-shirts, denim shorts, funky coloured/patterned vests and a new pair of Vans are what I've gotten so far.

A nice pair of trainers is a must have for the summer. Perhaps a nice colorful pair to wear with some light slim jeans. Still looking out for a nice quality pair of white plimsoles to wear with colored chinos. have a lacoste pair for about a year and thinking about buying the same again. Also on the lookout for a nice stone color pair of chinos for the summer. Nice white/light colored v necks always nice in summer. Hopefully we won't see too many guys out wearing crocs or espadrilles ;)

some of my latest footwear purchases (yeah i know i bought all nike trainers)
