Honeymoon on a budget?

    So looking to go on a honeymoon in Jan, but am looking at maybe doing it on a smaller budget. circa 1/2k, So amthinking maybe europe italy or spain?
    Looking up a few places and thinking of booking it myself, anyone any recommendations?

    Yes, if you want heat for that money in January it has to be the canaries.

    If you want adventure and sight seeing its hostels & backpacking all the way. Suggest north of spain, places like san sebastian which if youve never seen youre missing out.

    you could always do a mini-moon and travel on honeymoon at a different time of the year.

    mini-moon - just go for a weekend somewhere in Ireland, just a romantic break.

    Try one of the North African countries? Maybe skiing if that tickles your fancy? What are you looking for - warmth (canaries, N Africa), activities (skiing - alps, dolomites, surfing - lanzarote), luxury...
