Think to myself "Next". There are billions of people in the world, you've a lot of choice.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Don't ever aspire to being with someone who doesn't think you're only feckin brilliant.
Anything less and you're selling yourself short :)

So yeah, move on. And quickly!

    Easy.

You just reject the rejection and become a stalker! lol.

I don't ever recall being rejected unless someone I've already been with counts..but one way to deal with it is - find someone way better looking...Some girls will also get jealous of this, and it might even put an end to her rejection. ;)

Haven't been rejected so far. After looking at the above posts that makes me feel pretty smug and amazing.

I'd rather take a dump in a truck and then tip it out into my own face, than ride a fat bird. Have yes' no self-respect!

Right now im swimming in an ocean of sadness, hoping to cry myself to sleep, because i have to be up early in the morning. it's my first time to suffer rejection and its not pretty. she was though :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 175 ✭✭tosspot15

I'm actually more terrified of acceptance more so than anything. So much that I'm more likely to reject somebody that would like me, because that would make me super uncomfortable! (not that I would ever be put in that position anyway).

I read a good book on dealing with rejection once. I could give you a loan of it but I'm not going to.

Is it that easy? In my case she said she was with someone but she never mentioned him lately. And she was away all summer so how? Seems like she didn't have the decency to tell me straight. So any other advice for coping other than getting **** faced?

Most people in their own mind reject them selves, before they give anyone else a chance to reject them!!! make the move everybody, make the move......

I did.make the move ended up badly for me. Did it ever happen to you?

    Shovel.
    Bag of lime.

    Case Closed.

If shot down, I - as anyone else would - tend to internalise the pain, and become a self-hating and bitter shell of a man, get drunk, think about my ex-girlfriend and cry.
Eventually one day soon after, a random girl will smile at me, and from then I'll temporarily consider myself to be the f*cking KING.

    Standard stuff..

Trust me, anyone who's tellin you to move on, either hasn't a clue or was given the same advice by someone else, and should know better(so they're probably arseholes), move on at your own pace, eventually it will get easier, just don't stalk the 'BIACH' she certainly is not worth it.....

    wal·low

    /ˈwälō/

    Verb

(chiefly of large mammals) Roll about or lie relaxed in mud or water, esp. to keep cool

I'm pretty cool and relaxed any hour of life.
