Some sights today in the duck pond
    Trout up to 5 lbs!!!
I presumed they were carp at first!
    They are like pets...

Are these stocked or thrown in from the river and gorge on duck bread?

    Maybe and a fair point
But in my opinion (and only an opinion) anyone with the remotest interest in fishing could see these anyway?
Plus the more people that know the more there is to challenge those who stray.....
Take closed salmon rivers... Poachers paradise!

Haha it wasn't me!! I will giv it a shot sometime....It has me thinking what could be lurking in the ponds in the woods...could be some monsters.

Have you seen many in the actual park?? The one I saw in the duck pond was a decent size, he would eat most of the things in the dodder, he was a good 5lbs atleast.

Did you tell him to cop himself on?

There was actually a better rise in the park tonight than on the dodder, Billy there are more. there is also a good shoal of roche. As for the woods I got a shock one night by the size of one I saw down there last year, however there has not been a sight of him this year.

As for fishing in the park, one of the rangers told me you would be moved on quickly, there is also a new set of security guys there over the last few weeks. I was told why but I cant be sure I believe the story.

Was over again today. Saw a couple of nice trout, nothing major.

Then out of nowhere I saw this shoal of fish, maybe about 8-10, all roughly just under a lbs, no idea what they were??

    Anybody any ideas??

    Roach, bream, tench?
I know some parks put them and carp into parks as a nice sight for people that walk in the park

There is a nice shoal of roach in that lake. There are few that are a fair size.

I was meaning to put this up ages ago, I only found it again.
These two are in one of the lakes in the woods.

Water seems quite clear so I assume there aren't too many of them in there?

Never noticed any fish in any of the lakes in the wood before.
