    Hi,
I'm looking for advice on road bike wheels. I have a budget of about 600e. These wheels would be used for club training spins and some local races. I cant afford to upgrade the bike (Trek 2.1 which is fine) so am planning to upgrade the wheels. I plan to use the old wheels for turbo sessions.Any advice out there on good deals at the moment? Fulcrum, Zipp, Mavic???

What do you have in mind - tubs or clinchers, deep section/aero or not?

    Hi,

I want clinchers from an ease of changing tubes viewpoint. Not so sure about the deep section rims as there is lots of opinion about them on various forums. Its all abit confusing. Any thoughts on these planet x ones? I am abit wary of carbon wheels on irish roads and deep rims in cross winds!

You have a decent budget. Good luck whatever you decide.

    What weight are you?

I reckon up to 50mm deep is grand, anything over that can get dicey.
