    Pure greed.

It's definitely an unrealistic price. I'm pretty sure the seller is a regular here too.

The fact that it has been up for a month with no genuine offers says a lot.

I mean I accept the ambassador games might up the value of a console, while nintendo hasn't put them on the e-store for everyone yet,. But 350 quid's worth, no.

I'm sitting on a gold mine. I have a black one unopened with an email from Nintendo promising ambassador status in my closet.

I reently sold a 3DS along with its box and all its contents plus Mario Land 3D and included P&P for €120, which is a bargain imo. The price people are looking for WiiUs on adverts is crazy. The console is really struggling and there is zero demand for them. Most of them are looking for €400 for a premium and a few games.

Edit - I just checked out his other ad. A white iPhone 4s 64gb sim free for ..................€1,500:eek:

This is also true. Makes less sense when you consider actual retail places under selling them :p

I think you had to register the console before a certain date in order to qualify?

This €500 lark for a bog standard XL that has had the Ambassador games system transferred over to it though...madness. The Ambassador 3DS will only be worth any kind of money:

    1) In about twenty years
    2) Its an original launch model 3DS (not a system transfer)
    3) Nintendo don't release these games on the eShop

I think you can still register the console for the games. So the Internet says anyway. But I think it's inevitable we'll see these on the VC.

You must have to provide proof of date of purchase do you?

I think there's a website you enter your console serial number.

Ah I see, they must have limited a certain production run as ambassador candidates

I emailed them and sent them my amazon receipt, they said it did qualify.
An importer from the US offered me 150 for it, but you know yourself the launch price. Couldn't stomach it myself.

I sent them an e-mail explaining everything and they said there was nothing they could do the pricks :mad::mad:

Call them. It's harder to say no to someone who's screaming / weeping into the phone!

Thats a tricky one, do you:

    1) Unseal the console, download the Ambassador Cert & games & repackage it back up?
    2) Leave it sealed, & hope Nintendo keep the 3DS Ambassador program running indefinitely?

    What happens if they close the program, & all your left with is a sealed launch 3DS? :( {Assuming your keeping it as a collectible that is}
