Am out of contract with Vodafone.

However I would like the Galaxy S4. I have the S3.

Would it be worth signing up to their two year contract to get the phone for 99 euro?

At present my bills are coming to 70 something per mth yet I don't use the phone for much other then using my wifi at home.

The plan I was looking at has unlimited calls and texts for 55 per mth with an upgrade each year providing you trade in your current phone.

I could move from Vodafone either if there are better deals out there?

There are plenty of better deals out there, why are you paying for so much you barely use it other than WiFi.

The S4 is an amazing device, but you can get it for much cheaper. What about buying it sim free then getting a cheap sim only plan.

Meteor have an unlimited plan for 50 euro a month as opposed to the 70 you are currently on.

Three also have a plan , where you pay 40 a month for 2 years

Insurance adds on another tenner, then charges for calls other then Vodafone calls. It all adds up.

I had thought of sim free but it would be a fairly big outlay upfront.

I just upgraded with VF for the €55 a month and €99 for the S4.
That deal does not include a free upgrade in 12 months unless u pay an extra €10 per month.

Oh did not realise it was an extra 10 a month.

Was looking at o2. They do have a Carers special offer though so must look into that, otherwise the phone was from 189 euro.

Edited to add that I do have great coverage with VF and am often travelling around Ireland so would be worried about coverage on certain networks.

    I think the €55 a month isn't bad.
It's free calls and texts to any network including landlines.
    100 worldwide mins
    100 worldwide texts.

Yes I think that package would suit me but 2 years is a long time!

I am really unimpressed by the Vodafone Red. There seems to be too much stuff i dont need.

Looking hard at the meteor €49 offer

I have been with Vodafone for over 10 years so in an ideal world i would love to stay with VF but get what Meteor are offering
