I deposited a UK check yesterday, and was told it would take 4 weeks to clear.:eek: I remember years ago, befor computers were the norm, it took 2 weeks. Why does it take so long?

Search the forum. Has been covered before. The clearing time is normal and short answer fraud.

I did a search, but found nothing about UK checks. And yes I agree with your comment.:eek:
