Competency Based Questions at Interview

Can someone in recruitment /HR or someone with knowledge answer me this.

Say you are at a job interview and are asked about 15 competency based questions and you feel you've given pretty good answers to about 11 or 12 of those questions and answered the rest but the answers could have been better, do employers look for a candidate to answer every single question perfectly or are they flexible as regards the candidate answered most of the questions pretty well but could have done better with 3/4 questions.

    Just curious to know.

    Cheers

It often depends on the other candidates.

You could answer many wrong, but be the best of a bad lot or have more experience or be better qualified and get the job.

    or

You could nail every question and lose out to another candidate that also answered all the questions correctly but had some more experience. (Or wore an niver suit :-) )

Competency questions are just part of the overall interview.
