I lived in Ballinacurra Gardens when funderland was held in the old racecourse. It was a good distance away from my house but I may as well have been living on the roller coasters with all the noise. You could hear it as clear as day from my sitting room. Not very nice at 10PM. And of course, it attracted a fair few "undesirables" from a certain nearby area to take the short cuts through our estate to get there and back. I'd hate to have been a Log Na Gcapall or S.C.R resident at the time!
