HIIT on a treadmill?

    Does anyone perform use a treadmill to perform HIIT?

    The two gyms i visit have treadmills that reach a top speed of 18 which isn't an all out sprint. Are all treadmills capped to around the same speed or just some models? Also do some treadmills have a function where you can make your own program, preventing the constant manual changing of the speed?

    I run outdoors but as ive haven't much experience regarding treadmills apart from the ones in the local area.

    18 is common. As is 20km/hr. few would go beyond that. Threadmill a aren't for sprinting really.

    Most decent ones would. But the acceleration and deceleration time is still an issue.
    I run outdoors but as ive haven't much experience regarding treadmills apart from the ones in the local area.
    For HIIT, stick to outdoors imo
