    Hi all,

    Got to book an NCT and need to get some electric jobs done. Are these easy to come by? Any idea of cost, or what they are even called?

    Basically the button for the drivers window is loose. I would imagine it's a case of getting the whole part. I've been lucky before getting parts in breakers yard, but this doesn't seem like a common thing?

    Still no luck on ebay. They all seem to be "ended" auctions... no luck on partfinder either. hmmm....

    Have you tried main dealer? I paid €45 for windows switch for my a3.

    What's the story with some of these online ebay shops? I was bidding on a used switch on Hills Motors ebay auctions, and then they seem to pull the auction before it ends? So I have to start the process again. Very frustrating... I even emailed them to tell I was bidding, and that I'd be keen on one even if I missed out on the ebay auction, and nought...

    Does it still work ? The button in my car has be broken for years now but it still works without the button. I have passed 2 ncts without it. I think the main dealer quoted me over €100 to replace it.
