unlocking an old nokia?

    got an old nokia candy bar phone

    still locked to o2

    would they give me code if i rang them ? i don't think it's registered to owner

    What model is it? White sticker under the battery will tell you this.

    Depending on how old it might be unlockable online for free.

    Cant be done for free, but you could be unlocked for about €15 from a shop or site that unlocks phones.

    The owner can ask o2 for the unlock code once they have spent €150 on topup
