What do you need going into a bank, to apply for a mortgage - things that you will not get by without having?

Check the website of the bank you're applying to ... they all outline what's needed.
    But in general

    Your most recent P60
Certificate of income from your employer on the bank specific form
    Three most recent payslips
Photo identification (e.g. current passport or driving licence)
A recent utility bill (e.g. phone bill or ESB bill)
6 months bank statements if you bank with another bank
    Proof of savings
If you are self-employed you will be required to produce two years of audited accounts and confirmation from your accountant that tax is paid up to date.
