Burger King: "Today is not considered today for another four & half hours!".

Just in Burger King there and ordered a 'King Of The Day' seeing as it's Wednesday.

Girl gives me a Chicken Royale though (which I hate as there is more chicken in a frog than there is in those manufactured excuses for a chicken burger) and so I point out that it's Wednesday and so KOTD should be a Whopper. .

"Nope" she says, BK don't consider tomorrow to start until 5am! :O .

So, from midnight next Tuesday night / Wednesday morning, I plan to picket the O'Connell St (the one in town) branch until they admit it's Wednesday and give me a Whopper for €2.50 like we're damn well entitled to! .

Are you with me people?! .

This works both ways though OP, was out on Friday night before (aka 2AM Saturday morning) and I went in to get the deal of the day fully expecting it to be some ****ty chicken nuggets but no, placed before me was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen: A Bacon Double Cheese Burger

It's an automated till system, as far as their till is concerned it's still Tuesday since it hasn't been shut down or rebooted to close out the days business, the same as bars and clubs that run past midnight.

Makes sense to me; they serve one KotD until they close, then serve the next KotD when they reopen. Save them from having to change everything when they're swamped with drunks at midnight.
