Anyone any experience assembling one of these? Having bother with one at the moment. There's this daft t-shaped bracket system where you squeeze it open with the spring tool and then compress it closed again around the legs of the trampoline. Can't get them closed again around the legs. Seems a strange system. Anyone know…

I assembled one a few years back, but don't recall the piece you're talking about.
Fancy taking a picture so we can see what you're talking about.

From what I recall the frame is held in place through the tension of the mat.
