eBay: Postage not available to Ireland

I would like to bid on an item from a UK seller, but it is listed as "Postage not available to Ireland", I am registered with Parcel Motel and would use this as the delivery address, how can I get beyond placing a bid and then an error message from eBay telling me that "Sorry, this item cannot be sent to Ireland"? Many thanks.

Either that or ask the seller of they would post to Ireland and ask them to put you on their selling restriction exemption list thing.

There is a legal workaround for this issue.

You can ask the seller to add you to their exemption list.

If using sniping software in a situation like this I would recommend putting in a token bid to make sure it allows you to actually bid, i.e. if you snipe and there is an issue with the address then you have no time to fix it.
