hi guys, would appreciate any advice or oppinions on the above cars. im considering going to the uk in the summer to buy either a 1.6 crdi or a 2.0 crdi kia pro ceed. i do about 30000 miles a year and was wondering which of these engines would handle the miles better. im hoping to pick up an 08/09 with less than 60000 miles (still within warrenty). i know the 2.0 litre has high spec as standard (leather, cruise control etc.) but would probably go for a level 3 1.6 crdi to ensure high enough spec if i go for that version. i appreciate any oppinions?

If there isn't much different in money or emmissions between the two then I'd go for the 2.0 litre. My only concern would be resale, your average Irish buyer might shy away from the larger engined version.

Thanks for the reply bazz..the 1.6 has emissions of 119 and the 2.0 has 149 so a bit more in vrt and car tax which wouldnt bother me overly if the performance of the 2 is hbetter and the engine is generally as reliable as the 1.6crdi (ive seen here that the 1.6 is a good reliable engine)

The 1.6 is a better engine than the 2.0 in that its more reliable and chain driven.
