VW Passat 1.8 tsi with DSG

I'd assume you copped its a dealer selling it, and its a 160hp TSI as opposed to the FSI in the ad.

Its also not a 1 owner car

Yeah, we'll when he was on about trade ins, copped that alright. And checked on motircheck and seen its a tsi.
Annoys me when people but up incorrect details in their ad.......

How do you know it's not a 1 owner car ?

If you put the reg into the carsireland website, you'll see number of owners, dte of tax/nct expiry etc

Lovely thanks Colm. Had a look at cars ireland but don't know how to navigate to the page your seeing - or are you paying to see that.
The car check tab only brings me to motorcheck.

Go to http://carsireland.ie/add.php, stick in the car reg and hit Look-up Reg.

it's not a DSG its a conventional auto

No they never installed Torque converter in the B6 Passat ?

If there is just P R N D S then it's the DSG as the Torque converter would have 1 and 2

There were dsg and tiptronic models.

That's mad, can't believe it :eek:

So to know for sure is look at the display and look for 5 speeds because the dsg's were 6 speed.

The DSG models have DSG engraved in chrome above the gater on the gear shifter:
