Galaxy S4 or Note 2 ??

First world problems.

Having a hard time deciding on which to buy. I love the big screen on the Note II but the S4 has a better resolution.

S4 software is alot more up to date and future proof and I noticed the 3g connection is alot better. But Note II big screen is great.

Bah, i dont know.... What would you buy and why?

I'd get the S4 but if you love the big screen of the note series I would wait for the Note 3.

Have the S4 for the past few hours and I absolutely love it. Miles ahead of the note on resolution

There's two things the note has over the S4, the S-Pen and battery life, the note 2 will do 2 days of medium use without much effort and I've seen people push it to 3 days with medium use, with some tweaking

In what way is the 3G connection better? I'm facing the exact same dilemma myself so just looking for facts. [In my mind I'm veering towards the Note because the S-pen is a genuinely useful addition....downside of the note is that processor is slower than S4 and Note 3 expected out later this year]

If you think the S4 is better then get that, but if you want something like the note then wait for the note 3.

It will most likely be out by the end of summer and will have great improvements than the note 2.

I'll be going for the s4 i dont know how people can use a phone that big

I have Note 2 and it's great device but after couple of months I fell it's too big(That's what she said) For that reason I'm selling it and getting S4 or maybe HTC One. Having such a big screen is nice but it could get quite uncomfortable in your pocket. Its up for sale if you are interested.

Im prob wrong on that.


Anyway I ended up going for the Note 2 because I really like the screen size and I will mostly be using it for internet and games down the country(no broadband) where the big screen will be nice.

I know it's a fairly dated concept but if you want a phone with an fm radio don't get an s4. The note 2 has one though.

Thanks for that info - I regularly use the FM radio on my current phone.

No probs, it would have been a major dealbreaker for me as well!

There are people bemoaning this in the s4 thread. I'm surprised Samsung went down this road.
