    Anyone have any idea of the profit margins for lamb (reared from birth) to slaughter? Which are the best breeds for lowland? Thanks in advance

    just a rough guide to my own figures off the top of my head. costs per ewe are:replacement/mortality 20 euro per head per annum.feed(normal year) 10 euro per head vaccines,dose minerals 10 per ewe. ram cost 2 per ewe, fert per ewe 10. other fixed costs and misc costs 40euro per ewe
