Funds are a bit low so it'll have to be somewhere around Ireland this year I'm afraid. Kids are 8 and 12. Any suggestions?

I never grow tired of recommending renting a cottage in Clifden. Lots of nice beaches nearby, bicycle renting.

Or Dunmore East has a great kayak and water adventure centre.

Any particular cottage you could recommend? Weather is supposed to be decent this summer. Fingers crossed.

cottage rental is a great idea and you've a huge choice of locations in Ireland. Achill Island in Mayo, Kerry and Clare all have wonderful spots...
