Suggestions for an economical car

Hi all, I'm looking for a small, economical car for myself
I'm planning on spending no more than 4000 and I'm looking at 04-07 cars.
Fuel efficiency and reliability are important to me.
Any suggestions? I viewed a yaris today and liked it but I'd like some more choices

have a look at micras and fiestas too

I know it's a little over €4000 but it'd be well worth it imo as this little yoke will hold it's value well compared to other little cars

You won't offend me anyway but the Colt and Micra are somehow the epitome of masculinity compared to the Daihatsu offering?

your right about the micra but you can be seen more in the car without a roof

Wouldnt see the colt as a girly car.
