Facebook slow

I am a volunteer for a local organisation and within the past 2/3 the organisation's Facebook page freezes up all the time. Even have difficulty posting a status. We have more than 2000 friends, could that have something to do with it? Could anyone make a recommendation on how to fix it. Just as a bit of additional info,…

Just as a bit of additional info, my own Facebook page works with no problems.

No, the amount of friends isn't important. Is there videos or large images on the page? These things might make it slow to load in your browser.
Try another computer in another location.
