Samsung app - hilarious reviews

There is an app on Samsung phones called 'Samsung Push Service', users aren't really sure what it does so they've taken to writing hilarious and OTT reviews on the Play Store, most of them are highly entertaining.

Of course there are a few people lacking in the GSOH department who just don't get it, you'll have to skip past their comments.

    Sample...

After the update, all I needed to do was look at the front camera and my phone read my mind instantly. All the apps rearranged themselves and those I didn't like vanished instantly. I even got a message on how I would like the kernel to employ itself. Amazing! All I will ever do now is just look at the phone and it does what I need it to do. I didn't even type this message!

On a serious note.....why does the play store give the option to uninstall but its still after?

Short answer: Samsung have made it a 'sticky' app.

It's the same with the Flipboard app - when you click on 'uninstall', the confirmation screen says 'do you want to uninstall all updates to this Android system app' so it looks like you can't get of rid of it in it's entirety, you'll still be stuck with the version they installed in the factory.

I had the same issue with Facebook on the HTC Desire.

If you root you can force remove em(may cause instability, do at own risk).

    Pesky system apps (aka bloatware).
