Passat B6 with LED lights on rear. There are a couple of the LEDs gone and the first NCT is coming up in Aug.
    Two Questions:
    1. Will I need to change for the NCT?
    2. Will the Warranty cover a new light/fix?
    Thanks

    1. Don't do anything before the test, if it fails (unlikely if only a few LEDs are gone) then buy and fit one yourself.

    2. If the car is out of warranty no.

    Which warranty?
Manufacturer's warranty? = probably expired (isn't it 2yrs) but unlikely to cover it in the first place.
Dealer warranty? = If not also expired it would be exceptional if it did. They usually only cover major engine/transmission items.

The Warranty would be from the VW dealer I bought it from only a few months ago so got a 12 month warranty. Ill have to call them for a copy of the warranty before I mention what the problem is.
    Cheers for the help.
