I got a text early in the am last year from ptsb, same story. No transactions, but they thought the card was compromised.

Had a call once from mbna fraud team too. They had some transactions they didn't think I'd authorised; buying furniture in Florida and flights in Lagos. They hadn't gone through, and once I confirmed they were nothing to do with me, they weree stopped. Apparently, they'd got my card number, but nit the cvv number off the back of it. Always thought that code was pointless, but it saved me from a.nasty surprise.

Standard stuff. If you do notice anything strange on your statements give them a call. You will still be covered etc.
