British Airways Baggage Allowance

    Hi there,

I'm due to fly out on a longhaul flight on Sunday and this is my first time with British Airways.

    - You are allowed one piece of hand baggage plus a laptop or handbag.
    - Your laptop or handbag is up to the dimensions 45cm x 36cm x 20cm (18in x 14in x 8in), including the handle and pockets.

So hand luggage I obviously get. I reached out to BA regarding the laptop/handbag allowance. I have a HP laptop backback that meets the requirements, and was wondering if this is acceptable to bring on board as part of this baggage allowance instead lf a laptop/handbag?
