I am just wondering, will a car pass NCT if the back seats are taken out?

If its on the registration as having more than 2 seats, no.

    Wouldn't be so sure,

Good friend of mine brought a stripped out colt with no rear seats & roll cage etc, and no problems or questions what so ever.

I thought that sort of modification had to be declared on the registration and with insurance?
