Any ideas? Two now, same approx area (10cm apart.) Rim tape seems fine. I've gone over the tyre with a fine toothcomb, nothing in it, although I removed a small thorn yesterday.

Try swapping front and back tyres to see if you can isolate the issue to tyre or rim (or better still make it go away)

Bit of sand or grit perhaps, from when you were installing them? I know the roads in cambodia are not the best!
How far apart (in time) were the punctures?

Happened to me before. If all else fails double up on the rim tape.

Used to happen to me due to a raised lip on one of the spoke holes. It didn't noticeably poke through the rim tape but after a few punctures in the same spot I took the rim tape off and noticed a ridge. I filed it down, put on new tape and it never happen again.

It was after about 2 years of use that it started to happen so it must always have been there but taken time to thin out the rim tape in that particular spot.

It could also just be a coincidence. Or maybe you missed the thorn the first time and it rolled to a new spot.

Try a fine-tooth comb. They're better for that type of thing.
