Where can you buy bottles/cans of guinness extra stout at the best price i.e case on offer. Im currently enjoying the 500ml bottle but at 8.70 ish for 4 i would like something a little cheaper :)

    Any ideas?

I think the best place to cheap cans of macro beer is the off licenses just outside the city centre on the northside (Parnell St/Summerhill area). I'll see if they've got Guinness advertised next time I'm walking by.

If you like Guinness Extra Stout you might like the bottles of O'Hara's Traditional stout. €1.79 each in Aldi.

Are they plain O'Hara's these days in Aldi? Or the similar recipe/rebadged O'Shea's version also brewed by the same brewery?

Don't have an Aldi in Blanch, just Lidl.

Rebadged. The pale ale is a 4.3% non-dry hopped version of O'Hara's IPA.

Aren't the O'Shea's beers different recipes to O'Hara's?

At least, that's what the brewer told me.

It's O'Shea's in Aldi, and the bottle looks like this.

    There's a Stout, a Red and a Pale Ale.
