Hi I am wanting to buy an integrated dishwasher, and want to buy one that is economical and lasts. The last one I had was a Hotpoint Aquarius, which barely lasted 4 years.

    Thanks ;)

Do you have a question? Or were you just telling us a little story?

I got a Siemens integrated dishwasher 2 years ago and love it. Pricey but I'd buy it again. It's lovely and quiet and my favourite feature (aside from the red light on the floor when it's on) is that it has a cutlery drawer on the top that pulls out, great idea! I don't see the model number on the machine but found the manual - 9000 461 581 (8909).

Bought a beko dw602, budget price , but excellent dishwasher, easily adjustable drawers, and everything comes up spotless even on eco wash 50deg

    Also very quiet

How long have you had your dishwasher for?

Every 6 months or so,DID and Harvey Normans have a warehouse clearence/end of stock sale.

You will pick up some fantastic bargains at these events, but you have to be there early (8am ) to get the good stuff.

Thats how I got most of my kitchen appliences....(5 ring gas hob, double built in oven, microwave, buolt in fridge/freezer,washing maching, dishwasher and condensor dryer).

Also picked up a Samsung 26 inch Full HD TV for 99 euro.:D

Box was damaged/torn in transit, but TV was perfect.

Only buy a German or Korean branded machine eg Samsung, Siemens, Bosch. British made appliances are false economy. My parents brought all German appliances for their house 7 years ago and they havent had a single issue with any of them. Bosch Dishwasher are excellent. A slightly expensive german made machine will last for decades and not a few years like a cheap one

If you think im biased look through a few pages of this thread and spot how many british brands vs german brands that have issues

I have a Nordmende dishwasher and find it great so far (2yrs). As for Bosch, got a washing machine 9 yrs ago and never had an issue and it's used 3 to 4 times a week.
