Lord Sugar has confirmed the ninth season of The Apprentice will begin on Tues. 7th May, with the second episode airing a day later on Wed. 8th.

With Junior Apprentice not having been renewed by the BBC, it's back to watching the (often less mature) adults battle it out for the title.

Christ thank God for that and hopefully that eejit who didn't shut up will be next. Being a schoolteacher I would imagine no one ever said boo to her before. What a horrible person good riddance to her and her "fantastic idea"

Jaz definitely deserved to go. Although I thought they might have kept her as she made "good" tv - calling Alan Sugar "man" and showing him what a lucky cat does. Surely Jason will be the next to go. It was pure luck that he was on the winning team, he did nothing.

Can't believe he insists on being called by that silly title.

In her defence I don't she directed it personally at him but was more a case of thinking out loud!

It definitely wasn't directed at him, I think she just felt exasperated at that point!

She seems like a nice woman but she irritated me no end!! I think it's going to be a good series though, plenty of egos in the house and that always makes for good TV.
