Looking for a basic wireless printer for the parents between 40 to 70euro. Don't want to go with the cheapest option and then find the cartridges are crazy expensive!?
Also it is only going to be plugged in when needed if that makes any difference?
    Anyone got any suggestions?

Canon MG5350, should be able to pick one up online for around 80 Euro. 5 ink system so it's economical and lots of cheap ink available. It's a pretty high quality printer/scanner too. Avoid those cheap HP bargains you see where inks costs a fortune.

Advent Printer (Which is actually Pc World's own brand) Costs €37.99. Comes with scanner and is wireless.

A decent printer. Does the job. The reason why its so cheap is because Pc World plans on hitting you with €19.99 for blank ink and €29.99 for colour. But all one has to do is get their ink from amazon.co.uk and save over half on ink.

Really is a good choice to go with if you want a cheap printer as you can walk into any Pc World and pick up the printer intself and you are good to go.

Interesting, any idea if it's something like these that the printer would take?

Yup. That ink will do :)
The printer model number is advent AW10 wireless.

Remember, get the ink through parcelmotel.com - amazon.co.uk will probably charge you €12 for shipping. Whilst parcelmotel will only charge you €3.50
