    @noc231073
    I'm in Cork, can post. Thank you for the offer but I think they are priced to sell at asking.

    @Mods

    Can you please clarify the rules to noc231073.

    The tone of the message is also uncalled for and is my first encounter of same on this forum. This is an excellent free marketplace.

    The rules are the rules , but it doesn't mean I have to agree with them ...
    It's just would have been nice to make counter offer ... When my question was answered .
    As it a bit pointless to offer asking if you are the other side of the country and won't post...
    Maybe I should just offer asking first and then sort the finer details ... And then withdraw from the sale ... If it doesn't suit me ... Thus wasting everybody's time .....

    A counter offer is at the discretion of the seller, if they don't want to make one, that is their choice. The OP clarified they were priced to sell.

    No off thread dealing. It was a question about the 7900 crank for which I posted an additional photo here.

    Hi Blaa

    They were used this winter only so about 1500km. There is a scratch on the drive side as shown in pic. This happened while not fitted!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,469 ✭✭✭TheBlaaMan

    Thanks for the prompt reply. Can you confirm if this is the FC-5700 (with a 130mm BCD) - which would assume it has to be in order to take 52/36 - or the FC-5750 (110mm) ??

    It looks to be stamped "110".........hence my confusion. I'm wondering if you been able to source & fit larger 'rings to a 5750?

    I already have a FC-5750.

    Thanks

    yes, sorry technically a 5750 110mm. (you bought the 50/34 rings!)

    this is the 52 - http://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;navigation=1;product=4615;page=1;menu=1000,4,122;mid=8;pgc=122:435

    OK, thanks for the clarification. As I already have the compact, all I really need is the rings, and TBH, I thought I needed to get a new crank to avail of 52/36 or above......so I'm grateful for the pointer. I'm probably out of the runnning for this, but I may get back to you if you dont have another offer on it/

    Cheers

    Wouldn't be sure of exact mileage, but they have been on my good bike for around 18 months. (Guess in the region of 4k km.)
