Ladies and gents - I have an 8 month old Specialized Roubaix road bike, done about 1000K so far

This morning I noticed a small cut about 1-2cm long along the centre of the tyre

Should I look to change the tyre?
I am slightly reluctant given how relatively new the tyres are, however I obviously risk getting a puncture.

The bike came with specialized tyres DT Axis 2.0, should I look to replace with the same tyre?

Deflate the tyre, glue the spot and check again after a couple of days usage if it's still holding. Don't use instant glue as it will crack away.

Do you mean dont use Superglue?
    Any suggestions for alternatives?

How deep is it? It may be superficial. Take off the tyre and inspect it from the inside.

Yeah I know what you mean Wishbone, if the actual cut isnt deep into the tyre than it shouldnt be an issue.

I will check it out tonight. Dont want to but a new tyre if I dont have, but also dont want to get stranded for not checking my tyre properly

    cheers lads
