As title says it appears to me that one of a pair of collared doves recently hatched has been abandoned by the parents! Does that happen? This guy has been on the same branch on his own all day long. We are wondering if we should intervene in any way. All advice/info appreciated.

general rule of thumb is not to get involved. and if he seems healthy, he's probably perfectly alright.
