    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/23/dodgeball-sequel-ben-stiller-vince-vaughn_n_3138619.html

Twentieth Century Fox has finally commissioned a long-rumored script for a sequel to "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story." Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn would return to star, with Stiller's Red Hour Films producing. As THR reports, Clay Tarver will write the script.
That Stiller and Fox would want another "Dodgeball" on the schedule isn't too surprising. As Stiller himself said at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday night, studios love continuations.
"It's really hard to get most movies made," Stiller said about the current state of the industry during a chat with director Jay Roach. "Especially independent films, and even just regular, mid-range budgeted dramas. The genre movies and sequels are obviously what becomes the thing."

 I loved the first one myself

They'll probably bring back Rip Torn to play Patches O'Houlihan's twin brother.

    Oh... that's been done.

Hopefully it starts with Vince Vaughn being depressed because it was Lance Armstrong who inspired him and it turned out he was on drugs

I liked Dodgeball, harmless fun. Stiller was brilliant in it, and Jason Bateman was hilarious as the commentator. "Pepper needs new shorts!"

Well there's a film I've thought about for approximately thirty seconds since I saw it a decade or so ago.

A completely moronic film sure, but it did make me laugh so sue me. I imagine the buzz around Anchorman 2 persuaded people there's still goodwill to milk

The way I see it; sometimes, one is in the humour for some Ingmar Bergman or Krzysztof Kieslowski: other times, one is just in the humour for Jason Bateman and Gary Cole's commentary schtick, and Rip Torn throwing wrenches at Justin Long.

One should always be in the humour for things thrown at Justin Long

Summer must be near with all those talk of unneccesary sequels.

OK, this is all well and good, but will Stiller get off his ass and make "Zoolander 2" already?!

I'd like to see this. Probably the most quoted movie for the 3 years I was in college! The scene with Stiller in the white suit at Christine Taylors door was classic. "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood!" Then he clicks his fingers and the big black dude screeches into shot on a Vespa scooter! Yeah, I'd definitely like to see another one made. I enjoyed Stiller and Vaughan's latest collaboration 'The Watch' far more than I thought I would.

Personally i didn't like the original at all. Vince Vaughn is usually enough to ruin a movie for me but i didn't see what most other people seemed to love about it. Certainly don't think it deserves a sequel.

I do agree with Jacks Smirking Revenge and would love to see Zoolander 2 in the works.

He is not able to....not until Bret Easton Ellis writes Glamorama 2 and he plagiarises the f*ck out of it again!!
