Hitachi EX 15-2 Can anyone tell me how much hydraulic oil is required, or to what level you should fill the tank to? and what spec of oil should be used? Mine blew a pipe and lost most of oil from tank, but not quite all.

Normal hydraulic oil available in most motor factors should do The trick with The hitachis

Make sure you put it in The right tank as a lot of people tend To put hyd oil in The fuel tank And even diesel in The hyd oil tank

There should be a marker on The side or The resivour with a gauge on The side

So stretch out The arm And fill The tank approx 4 inches from The top

Make sure before you do this that The blade is fully up And The top ram And bucket ram Are fully closed, when you open these rams The oil level Will drop but Will not empty The tank.

Hope that gets you motoring again
