    Hi. Folks
I have been restoring a mf 203 4cy tractor/digger . I have almost finished and I bought a plough light from Agriline . I can't figure out how wire in the light .
There are four wires coming from the light two from the switch and three from the bulb. The three from the bulb are live ,neutral and earth . So how do you wire in the switch to affect the bulb . Help !

theres no neutral on 12v vechile wiring just live and earth,on the lamp the earth should contact the metal part of the bulb,is the switch on the lamp or the tractor?has the switch more positions than just on and off like the switch for the side lights and headlights?

when you say theres three wires from the bulb it sounds like its a headlight bulb with two filaments, the earth will be the one connected to the bulb holder where the metal part of the bulb contacts the holder, you could use either of the other wires to connect to power, the switch sounds like a simple switch, you just need to bring a live wire form a connection point like a spade end terminal that are on some starters,or you can bring power from the key switch you will need a fuse on the line,is the two wires from the bulb connected to the switch also has the switch 3 positions off being position 1?

The two wires on the switch are not connected to the bulb. The switch only has one movement in and out.

Is the switch illuminated, maybe it has a pilot bulb to show switch is on, although it should be obvious to anybody when plough light is on!. The extra wires may also be for a warning light on dashboard for light.
Any more info on digger, spent a lot of my teen years on the bigger version based on 165?
