Well worth ringing around for prices. I needed an 8000 L pump for a 1300 gallon tanker, and got prices from 850 to 1050 from 3 buisnesses within 20 miles. Ended up buying a seondhand one for 385. Its done 2 years now, and is still perfect. Surprising how the pefrormance can slowlt drop off, and you don't notie. The new one was a revelation!

Whats wrong with old pump, my self and the brother ripped the pump apart on ours last year, the vanes had jammed in it so we cleaned them up ground high spots off them put it back together and its perfect

    Hi dharm,
My pump was gone beyond that, deepish grooves in the bore of the pump, causing it to eventually jam, which put a slight bend in the rotor shaft.

music110, I got the secondhand one from Derek Johnston farm equipment in Longford town.

Got a price of 1400quid for one afew weeks ago! Got the pump fixed instead as the whole tanker isnt even worth that, had to put in a new rotor though. Still havn't got the bill for the job, but I think a 2nd hand one would have been a way smarter move!
