thinking and looking at the grass, and while a few fields are not ready for fert, i think i can put a few bags out on some, just to help it along. .

so cheesed off this year, hard to judge it, i was expecting to be topping extra grass, not throwing fert to boast it along... wife suggests too much grass in july is better than none in may. . . so i might see about taking out the shaker.

its not too late is it?

18.6.12, what size are those bags? are the 50kg bags?
and how much will i be paying per bag.. ..

all about ryanair style farming here, so doing me sums,

    14 bags I need

€435 a tonne I paid about 3 weeks ago. That was delivered.

    That's €21.75 a bag.

Paid €435/T for Cut Sward & €425/T for Pasture Sward paid on collection to get best deal (usually about extra €5/T delivered).

We get larger loads delivered & collect the smaller amounts, suits us better, OH out spreading pasture sward on fields that cattle were finished grazing on sunday as I here typing this before we go to work - joys of part time farming.
